Liturgy for the Right Use of Technology
Written for the Digital Catacombs Conference, Austin, Texas (2024).
Scripture
Jesus says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
Verses
The Lord gave the word;Great was the company of those who proclaimed it. (Psalm 68:11)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5)
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God,what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable,if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8)
